Particle filter (P100) mounting location and space

  1. Where does the pancake-style P100 filter attach?

  2. Would a cartridge filter with bayonet connection, for example a 3M 60921 cartridge filter, fit in that space?

  3. What do you think about use of a cartridge filter like that?

Hey Griffin,

The P100 filter is only on rev 2 machines. we removed it for rev 3 machines.

I dont think 3M 60921 would fit in there with the tray rack, but the attachment fitting is the same technically.

If you could use an organic vapor one that would be cool, I just dont think it will actually fit.

Thanks

Wow! Is the attachment fitting still there in the rev 3? In addition to reducing organics, you could reduce acid gases (like from pickles or lactoferments) with a 3M 60923 cartridge, for example.

Also, why the change? Did the P100 get backwashed by flow from the fresh air valve? Or was the benefit of extended oil change interval not realized?
