Noise is to be expected during operation. 64 - 78 dB (about the same as a clothes dryer) is typical. If the unit is excessively loud, check that there are no loose parts inside the machine. Check that the evaporator fan blades are in good condition. If not, contact Customer Support.

Often times, especially when re-pressurizing the unit, the ice that has collected on the chamber wall will crack. This can cause a very loud pop. This should not be a cause for concern.
